Christopher Sharp

About me

I started out as an engineer in a small London studio in 1999, before moving on to work on a range of major broadcast, interactive, advertising and film projects. For a time, I was Audio Supervisor for Disney, supervising their feature film mixing at Shepperton Studios and foreign-language dubbing operations. I was later part of the team that launched Monocle 24; single-handedly set up the live studio for On Broadcast; and tested and optimised Audible’s first UK studios before they went into operation.

Since going freelance I’ve worked on a variety of projects, including The Guilty Feminist and How to Fail with Elizabeth Day since their very first episodes. These days, I split my time between engineering and producing at London facilities, running sessions from my home studio, and recording shows at venues across the country.

Outside of work I like long walks, strong coffee, and old-school PlayStation games.
